I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Dallas. At the start of this blog, I am ABD and starting a dissertation on the philosophy of science. In addition to using this space to formalize my notes and thoughts more precisely, I intend to stray into topics that are related to my research, but fall outside the scope of my dissertation. This will probably include discussion on religion, politics, and cognitive psychology. Since my philosophical research endeavors to understand how the various kinds and sources of human knowledge fit together as a whole, this seems worthwhile to me.

Here I plan to pose questions, sketch sections of chapters, summarize the relevant parts of research materials, and informally review books in which I am interested. Perhaps some of these activities and musings will be of interest to others. And perhaps not.
